Just curious, how many of you pick up your gear at the post office? The way my source sends it I always have to sign a confirmation note to get my package. But man does it make me nervous. Thanks!

your source should ship so you dont have to sign for it...

I would NEVER sign for gear

He's from Canada and always ships Canadian priority which requires a signature. He says packages that require a signature are checked less often. I live in the USA.

Screw signing. I don't know about canada post but assuming the one's that require a sig are checked less it also makes it alot harder to tell if it's a CD. I wouldn't sign if it was me.

I've signed. Sometimes the courior demands it. Also the source is assured you got you stuff and the buyer can't scam. It's risky BUT if you track your package and can see how long it's in customs then you'll know. It takes time to set up a sting, to get all parties involved. Recently I recieved a package, I wan't eexpecting it to come from canada and requiring a sig. I refused it and emailed source (don't ask) to tell him. I got a resend and missed the postman. Got it from the post office with no problem. It's all about the circumstances. If your leary then DON"T sign and contact source to figure out a solution. It's not worth your freedom.

My source said my package would arrive in about 10 days. On the 10th day it came and I wasn't home so now I have to go to the post office and sign for it. The first time I bought from this guy I was home and signed for it with no problems. It just makes me nervous going to the post office to sign. All my sources have been from outside the US and I am always nervous about Customs and getting into trouble. I emailed the guy and he said asking for a signature is standard procedure and once the package clears Customs you're good to go.

just use a domestic source .no customs or signature .

you will be perfectly fine signing for it at the post office. Once it is through customs you will have no trouble. The cops wont be sittin at the post office for days on end waiting for you to pick up the package. The has to be alot of proof you are a hardcore buyer or dealer before the government will spend money setting up a sting to bust your arse.
But the thing is the longer you leave the package at the post office the more suspesious they will become. Just have a scotch or 2 to calm your nurves and go sign for it. you will feel better for it afterwards.
