Phone Interviews?

It will be weird, I like the face-to-face interaction and being able to read people's body language.
I guess I will see how well I do soon.

I give them a lot. I make them 15 mins or so and just try to figure out if I want to use my time and bring this guy onsite for the face to face stuff.

Business is done over the phone, no matter what field you are in (unless you're a gyno, I suppose). Get used to it. Your passion will not be able to come through in your body language / eyes, so make sure your voice tells the story.

You can potray alot of the same shit over the phone you can in person.

i'm just used to it because i'm on the phone all day, but....

you can be almost as charismatic on the phone as you can in person.

just gotta read tone instead of body language.

if anything it helps because if you have crappy real life body language you can compensate for it

Oh, and lol at your location. I dig the beat, but the vocals I could do without.

I like that track alot......

beanie rips it, jay's good on it, and bleek hypes up the track.

wait...lol. you talking about nickeye's?

depending on what type of position it is and the other person's demeanor on the other end should determine your tone....

Who has had them?

I got one coming up that is very important to jumpstart my career.

i hate them. you can't read peoples body language. which tells you 90% about a person.

but i understand it's good for pre-screening and knowing if someone at LEAST knows his or her craft. And when you're dealing with a lot of applicants - it can help narrow people down.

Wanna stand out? Do your phone interview - then at the end, tell them while you enjoyed this interview, you're more of a people person and you do far better talking in person. You look forward to perhaps continuing this interview in person, and you would love the change.

Of course don't say this if you completely fucked up the interview.

All the time, it's a preliminary qualification interview done by HR so that someone important doesn't waste their time interviewing you in person; It's no big deal.

Just got done with it, I think I knocked it outta the park!

Wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be.

Will hear back next week for a second interview.
