Where you first taking finasteride then jumped on avodart also? I've been on proscar for about 5 months and noticed that shedding stopped but lately I've been thinking of jumping on avodart myslef. Appreciate any feedback.

whats avodart?

i frankly run maximum dosages of finasteride to make sure i lose 0 hair. usually 1mg ed is sufficient

i love the finasteride/arimidex stack.

Proscar is more efficacious than Avodart. Stick with Proscar.

I think avodart will prove superior to proscar. But I am going to use both. Here is my reasoning:

Avodart effects type I and II isoenzyme. Type II I beleive is the type of 5-AR found in skin and scalp. Proscar only hits type I. So while proscar is taking up the type I isoenzyme, hopefully the avodart will be binding up the type II isoenzyme. I know they say not use both, but that is for people with normal levels of testosterone.

Yes, I was taking liquisteride, 2.5 MG ED for several months. Then I added this solution of dutasteride I found on the net that was .125 mg dutasteride ED for 2 and a half months. I don't know how accurateley dosed it was, never had it tested. Been on real avodart for almost a month now.

Guess you already found it pharmguy. So did you notice hair-fallout come to a stop also any hair-regrowth!

I think I have too many androgens in my system for regrowth. Right now I am looking at damage control. I think I will have to be on avodart for 3 months to see its maximum benefit and off the AAS for 6 months to see regrowth, especially the ones I have been using like EQ with that long-ass ester. Even EQ, while not as androgenic as others, I think will inhibit regrowth. I thinkk AAS hang out in your scalp for a long time.
