Poor fellow, here's a guy that was arguably one of the best hitters, if not the best of all time..........and now he's doing Maaco commercials........lol. I always considered him to be a cocky jerk, but he was one helluva ballplayer.

He's a cool guy, hung out with him alot he has a restaurant down here Pete Rose's Ball Park Cafe, and all my friends worked there, and my ex. He came to my ex's b day party, and gave him a 3,000 Hit Club Poster all signed by the 3,000 Hit Club guys on it. Very nice guy, great to all his fans....

These baseball writers who vote players into the Hall are pompous bastards. Qualifications should include what the player did on the field not what kind of person he was/ or wasn't off the field. I enjoyed it when Rose was cheered when he was on the All-Century Team at the World Series a couple of years ago..he is arguably one of the most tenacious players or all-time and who always gave 110%.
Look at Barry Bonds, he is a reputed 'asshole' who had a paternity suit with a porn star a few years back. Shold that disallow him from being voted in? Rose got a raw deal because Bart Giamatti hated his guts

I went to that restaurant when I was in FL a couple years ago. Food was pretty good.

Rexx....yeah he was on WWF Wrestle Mania I think with Tyson ......don't rememeber any chicken suit...he was announcing as a host or something then gets in the ring and flips somebody and gets flip.....something like that.

He used to have his own radio sports show he did at the restaurant but that went off the air.....nice guy....nice kids.....

Food a Pete Roses was good, haven't been there in a LONG time, but the Spinach Dip was the bomb
