I was thinking of having this swole a$$ mofo train me at about 2-3 time a wk for 6wks. For you guys who are involved in personal training or have been how much do you think that would cost me? Whats the going rate? I want to focus mainly on diet, and bf% loss so i can shed off my belly fat and show my abs again.

Bro, It really varies. I used to be a PT for (DONT LAUGH NOW......Bally's)...LOL....O.K., It is a little funny, I know..But, The fact of the matter is, For instance at that club They charged a rediculas fee to the customer and paid me SHIT. So, needless to say that endevor didn't last too long. I'm assuming that this dude is an actual trainer??? You need to just ask the dude I'm sure he'll tell you. Shit,I guess it really all depends on who's training you. I mean, their are obviously places that feel that I am more than qualified to Train. Personally, I feel thats a crock of shit...but. shhhhh, dont tell anyone...lol.

It depends...around here it is around $20-$30 bucks/hr but you should get a package deal for 6 weeks.

If you do it post what the dude has you do - just curious.

The only thing holding back my workouts is injuries. If I had no nagging injuries Im constantly nursing, I would train like an animal like I used to.

Anyhow what Im saying is, if its motivation you are lacking, look inward, not towards your pocketbook.

depends on location for sure... and also the trainer's experience.... "big-city" trainers will charge $$$$$ (I've seen anywhere from $50 on the very low end to $200 on the high end here in the NYC area)... also, trainers that are more high-profile, more in-demand, and have tons of certifications will charge alot more

100000000% true!

im almost done with PT on my shoulders!!

I just got a quote by some girl over the phone at one of the 3 different locations i workout out and she said it would cost roughly 1100.00 for 3 sessions a wk at 50min a session for 6wks.

There's a sliding scale and the more you pay, usually the worse the trainer is.

For example the most expensive PT in the world I think is swissball fetishist and infomercial shill Gunnar Peterson who will have you doing jumping jacks and climbing ropes for $500 an hour. The best I knew in real life was a powerlifter who charged $20 a session to teach you everything you need to know about lifting heavt things.

To lose fat you don't need to pay anyone a dime, unless you need contest prep.. its not rocket science.
