Perhaps the most important rule for the hardcore bodybuilder..

Quite simply:

Fucking Relax!!

After my recent incident regarding a nasty anxiety attack I can tell you this from a first hand point of view.

For as long as Ive been a part of Elite Ive seen people freaking out over cycle choices, dieting, lifting routines, and just about everything else, the only difference is that I paid no attention because I did the same thing particularly with my diet.

Let me be frank in the point my brothers that you can not rush perfection, and very bluntly put, some people will not have the genetic ability regardless of drug use to put 250lbs of lean muscle on a 5'11" frame.

Its when you allow every thought to stray to constant numbers games with food, going insane thinking you wont have your six pack "unpacked" by the first of June, and sitting around your room like a mad professor constructing the next "suicide" cycle the will surely pack a good 50lbs on you.

Im not saying to throw your diet away, and stop researching anabolic use, what I am saying is take your time, relax, sleep more, have some damn pizza when you want to and dont go look in the damn mirror 3hrs. after you eat it to check for any damage its done.

Its one thing if you compete, but if your simply a rec. BB its not worth the stress or the overall damage you will eventually cause both physically and psychologically.

Quit making your cycles so complicated, and diets even more complicated. Youll find eventually that most of you will respond to very simple yet disciplined methods of dieting and very simple yet effective stacks of "supplements".

Its your life, and its something to think about bro's.

Peace,
WCP

VERY NICE WCP. Every time I think you and E2 have fallen from the face of the earth, you guys come back:D
Anyway, ive had three anxiety attacks so far, and they always come when im constantly worrieng about shit. Thats why Im never alone-me and my girl Mary Jane are never apart;)

Very well said, WCP. Nice post, it is not often that someone comes on here and really puts it into perspective. Gear should be used to enhance your life, not just another shackle. If it stops being enjoyable, sit back and find out why, and like you said, fucking relax.

Great to see you back, WCP. And you are so right. Most of us are not going to make it to the stage at the NOC, (except Drexx), so relax and enjoy life also. You had a very full plate, as most of us do, balencing family, work, home etc. and still trying to stay perfect on our program.
Really, success in bodybuilding is a matter of longterm committment over many years. Taking a day off to relax, get bombed, spend time with the kids, or whatever doesn't make much difference if you plan to train for a lifetime, as I do.
I'll be calling.

Great post WCP!!! I got wayyyy too serious about bbing a while back and lost many friends. All the training, dieting and drugs can become too much of an obsession. I've learnt to control it now.

Good Post Bro! Some people just need to learn to relax. I have the same problem with panik attacks but I am geting better. Glad to hear you are doing well

WCP..what's going on bro..I totally agree . You brought up a good point and Im glad you adressed it. I need to be reminded that sometimes myself.

Very good advice WCP.........................and oh how true it is.

I think about 99% of us here should stop and read/remember this from time to time.

good post WCP i think alot of us are in a hurry to reach our goal i know i can get that way .like you said just relax .........

I am with you bro. I have knee surgery on friday and it will give me a nice week break from going crazy. I have been going nuts trying to diet down and get ripped. but I still keep some good friends. my old party friends don't really understand but they like it when I go to the club and get mad honies

peace
