It's actually in the city limits. Granted it's a small city/town but it's convenient to everything yet very secluded. I only have one neighbor and they are about 2 football fields away on the other side of the road.
I am surrounded by trees and mountains on the remaining sides for the most part, although I fear a land developer may be buying/building next to me.

This is in Jonesborough TN. A historic town - the oldest town in Tennessee.

That's the beauty of finding a run down, foreclosed house.

Since purchasing it, I simply use whatever money I have leftover from my paycheck that week to buy the supplies needed to do whatever particular project I could do in that week.

Repeat each week with a different project on the house.

Thus I never had to borrow $.

Plus doing all the work myself saves a ton of $$$.
