"dallas" tv show: perception vs. reality....
i've gotten hooked on the reruns of the late 70's soap opera "dallas" all over again.
the very first season started up a couple of weeks ago. some observations, after an almost 30 year flash back:
larry hagman (j.r. ewing) needed a better hair piece and his eyebrows trimmed.
vikkie principal (pam) slept on her back even before all her husband's plastic surgery.
all that Tall Hair! gals and guys.
i recall bobbie (patrick duffy) being a pumped up major league dude; someone to shoot for in the gym. after viewing the reruns with him around the pool and shirtless in the bedroom; i am disappointed. he was only slightly built back then and rather soft in the abs....often his abs stuck out as far as his pecs!
just shows how far our standards and perceptions changed since 1978.
