Perceived abuse of moderator power's

I think the moderators are very respectful of other member's
views and opinions.

I've noticed most tend to allow more abuse to be dumped
on them, than other members, and this does bother me.
Just because someone is a moderator, does not mean they
have to take more abuse than regular members.

If people do not agree with a decision that has been made,
PM the moderator, but keep it civil. Show a little respect, for
them, as well as yourself.

Seriously though I think some of the bellyaching about mods here goes too far sometimes. Yes I have complained to mods in threads here when they have locked threads of mine but I have never disrespected any of them or anything.

And I think bouncer would make a good moderator because you are moderate(meaning not biased) towards people here period.

Besides a crazy irishman would balance the mod duties around here lol.

Actually I'm surprised this has remained so calm, I was expecting awhole load of shit over it.
I have had 3 posts deleted in the past, two by George and one by Matt.
George acted in the good of the board, because I let something out that the board was'nt ready to hear yet. He e.mailed me his reason's and I had to agree when I gave it a little thought. THe second was a reply to something which Matt deleted by accident, I PM'ed him my concerns, he explained it had been an accident, tried to retreive the deleted post but could'nt.
Bikinimom you know that apart from the stupid ass Karma message's you have the support of the whole board here. You pretty much stand tall here in my books.

The opinions ( if one can even use that term for the garbage they regularly spew) of insecure children (or adults with a very low iq)with access to the internet mean nothing to me. (And I AM NOT talking about individuals who do not agree w/my point of view or people who just do not like me ....I am not out to win any popularity contests and do not NEED to have approval from everyone for my every thought or action. I seek the approval of my children and MYSELF.... that and I am striving to make my family and close friends proud. There's alot of cripping and crying about some moderators 'abusing' their MOD's power's on these board. Someone wrote in another thread that the member's using the boards would "moderate"the boards themselves by flaming etc..! So we let the lunatics take over the asylum ?.

I'm not a MOderator, but that's ditto for me as well. I'm not here to massage ego's either.

The list is long minion. I was'nt refering to you btw, because I don't know you !. You've only been here since July and this MOD bashing has been going on alot longer than that I asure you mate.
If there's a genuine problem with any member here, be it a MOD or not, there's several course's of action you can take. Unfortunately some people around here feel it's their duty to mouth off here first. What happens then is long time use'ers of e/f, like myself take the view that their just being distruptive and don't even bother to open their threads anymore.
This board is the envy of bodybuilding board anywhere on the internet, how would it look from the outside if the board was a free for all without any form of monitoring from moderators.
In the early days of e/f when we had E2, WCP, Texasguns etc the monitoring mostly concerned source posting as the board was mostly anabolic steroid talk.

Minion I'm just wondering why you had to ask me that question ?.

Now I answered your question. I don't remember you answering mine in your thread about RyanH.
I asked you had you e.mailed your concerns to George before you posted here and what was the result of the e.mail.
I have had cause to e.mail George for a number of things and have always received a prompt reply.

And one final thing I'd like to say. RyanH is not a punchbag to be knocked about here everytime someone has a grevance concerning a deleted or locked post.
Some posts which have been locked, moved or deleted have been brought to the attention of the MOD's by the ordinary member's of the board here like myself. After consideration the MOD's will take the appropriate action. And that doesn't mean they'll automatically act on the concerns of the member concerned. I have brought some posts to the attention of moderators here, who after carefully considering the contents of the post have PM'ed me back explaining that after looking at both side's of the argument they'll either leave the thread as it stand's or if there's a slight concern it's going to turn bad they'll pormise to monitor it.
You guy's have to see that just because your not a moderator of the board you should feel you have a duty of care for the good running of the board none the less.
