People with Tatt's

I just got my second Tat today and I took the bandage off about 2 hrs after I got it and it was ok

well I just put polysporin on it and now it started bleeding again,did I tear the scab and not know it or did the polysporin soften it so it is bleeding now

also what kind of ink do you guys have

I only have one. I don't know what type of ink I have. Mine really never blead. Sorry I can't help though. Did you by any chance take a lot of aspirin or something today. That will thin your blood and make you bleed more than usual.

They look so nice the first couple of days before they start peeling. It's always a bummer to lose the intensity of color.

After a couple of hours I wouldn't think it would have a scab-- probably just a little dried blood. It's possible that if you're putting lotion etc on it that you're softening the scab but I've never had one start bleeding after getting home. Maybe call the tat shop. Otherwise just baby it to minimize color loss.

And on a side note I really need touch up color on 2 of my tats. My first was was just black and white (the white kind of glows when I'm tan) and that one hasn't ever needed touch-ups.
 
My 1st tat didnt bleed a lot and I didnt apply much neosporin(sp?)

My second tat (although bigger) bled alot (ink and blood) and I think its because I kept it saturated in neosporin. I think it never got a chance to clot properly.
 
defineately call them up, because i doesnt sound right, my tatt has no problems like that, it didnt even scab because i kept betadine with zinc on it 24/7
 
they had to put alot of ink in because I was bleeding alot because I went out drinking last night but I wouldnt see why its still bleeding either,and it didnt until I put the polysporin on it

If I cant find out the answer from you guys I will have to call them

also when I said what kind of ink do you have I just meant what are ur tats
 
I ahve a black adn white sun on my low back/spine, a dragonfly on my upper right ass cheek, and a little floral "kitty tat"....very few have seen that one. :angel:

i just got one sat.(cover up). almost half sleve. and it didnt really start scabbing till wed or thur but yesterday when i was workin out it started bleeding thru scab, so no more workin out till it heals. i wish it would hurry up and get the hell off.,
i wouldnt do anything to help the scabbing come off, let it take its course and after the 2nd day you'r not suppose to put anything on it. keep it dry and dont touch it till its scab is gone.

ps. i loooooveeee my tat:D :D
 
All black, one chinnese symbol and one tribal from my shoulder down to my mid to lower arm. and Do you see that symbol on my avantar's shield?? It's on my upper trap area.

All fo my tats have a meaning and I can't imagine regretting them....though I won't share my reasons.

I just talked to my bf as he just got home-- his whole arm is sleeved solid with ink from his elbow up. Anyhow he said that it depends on how big the tat is but that one of his was really bloody for about a day. That one is probably 4-5" tall and wraps amost all the way around....he said he keped putting new gauze pads on it one after the other because they soaked through. Perhaps it just depends on where you put it and how much skin is ripped up.

yeah it's totally a jail house tat with my initials "AJ" in old english lettering.
 
I had 2 "jailhouse tats when I was like 14 or 15. Really lame ones too. one was a crooked cross and the othe was a pimpin money sign.

Good thing I got them covered up.

You think you're hardcore, I did mine myself with a single sewing needle and some indeo ink one stab at a time.

thanks Raina,I figure then its just because I had to get it put in real good,its about 3-4 inches above my elbow so its not a sensitive area,Im not bleeding to the point of needing gauze but about every 20 mins it runs down my arm

I guess since I ask I will tell you guys about mine

the first is a celtic clover with the trinitys in them,thats because im catholic

this one is the irish flag a little bigger then a business card with IRA in the white portion of the flag,Ill post it up soon

One on my right shoulder. It would give my identity away.
 
mine is just a freehanded tribal bout 9"x4" on my upper arm and curls up on my shoulder. it was a cover up so, couldnt just find something in a mag i wanted. dude just sat down and free handed it in like 2or3 min.

my IRA one I posted will with me also,not to many fuckers will get IRA inked on them
 
I have one tatt. I got it last year when I THOUGHT that I would be able to divorce LOL It was a "divorce present to me". I'd always wanted to get a tatt, but my ex forbade it. HEheheheee

Anyways - it is EXTREMELY sexy and private. It can not be seen under the teeny weeniest little bikini. :)
 
no tats yet, only 17, but i plan on getin 3 or 4. i have my left ear pierced, did it myself 3 weeks ago. gonna pierce my right ear lobe, left cartilidge, and my labret as well

I want another IRA tattoo somewhere and have plans to get my coat of arms,celtic cross and Ireland forever in gaelic on my chest. but its gonna take years as college costs me all my money
