People who take juice are they more prone to injuries than people who dont?

I think people on gear can be more prone to injury because their muscles get to strong for the tendons. Also alot of times inexperience can cause problems, their body could be telling them to slow down but they figure since their on the juice they are indestrucable. I learned that lesson myself.

Exactly!!

couldn't have said it better myself.

It does make you feel powerful, and almost invincible. It increases aggression and drive. And it increases muscle strength faster than tendon strength.

That would be the only reasons for it making you more likely to get injured. Also Winstrol is known to make your tendons grow too fast and makes them brittle and apt to tear.

AAS can also help you in some ways. High testosterone and estrogen together make for really good recovery from injuries. So the daily trauma of normal lifting is recovered from better and that would make injuries less likely on cycle. Now if you use too much Estrogen Blockers and estrogen gets too low then you lose this effect (I mean really really low).

I think it boils down to this:

1) Take AAS in moderation, don't take too much and don't let your estrogen get too high or too low. Also know the drugs you are taking and the side effects.

2) Understand that tendons/ ligaments grow slower than your muscles. If you bench goes up 100 lbs in 3 months, don't increase your reps that much. Go with more reps, and higher reps of lower weight. I really suggest not doing low reps of really high weight if your strength has just increased a large amount. Give it some time and let the ligaments catch up.

I think the main reason you could get injured while on is like some other bros said. Your tendons and shit cant grow as fast as your muscles but when your off it takes ya longer to get as strong. When on juice you retain water and recover faster so your muscles start growing hella fast and your ligaments liek some guys said just cant keep up but I think the results ppl get from using AAS in comparison to the injuries recieved while on is so minute otherwise ppl wouldnt wanna waste tiem with AAS if all they did was spend money and then get hurt.. What would be the point?

OK GUYS! We can have a debate here, but this name calling needs to stop!!!!

RADAR

I have no idea about acute injuries, but for those of us slightly north of 40 years old I don't have the same aches and pains for a week following other intense athletic activities (e.g. 150 mile bike rides/high intensity interval training etc) while supplementing w/gear.

as mentioned earlier
muscle strength racing ahead of tendon strength

but also
1 while "on", tendon and ligament growth is wrong
they grow in a spiral fashion if i remember correctly but regardless they grow incorrectly and can increase likelyhood of injury

2 some juice cover symptoms of minor injuries leading to serious injuries
nandrolone for example acts as an anti-inflammatory

3 aggression
it can cause you to do more than you should

solution have a plan for your goals of strength and stick to them
dont say im gonna try to press as much as i can every workout

imo basically people who are juicing train extremely hard and heavy most of the time

and I entirely agree with the aspect of their muscles growing much faster than their tendons and ligaments which can lead to injuries

I try to keep that in mind every time I train, because I sure as hell don't want to get any muscle tears that will temporarily put me out of commission.

anyone jabbing sharp objects in their bodies are going to take bigger risk in the gym
meaning more injuries
