they think you have to be GRRRR .. mad and go in there like an asshole and throw weights around like a gorilla, be a tough guy.. BULLSHIT. thats BULLSHIT.
bodybuilding/lifting REWARDS those that are in great CONDITION.. when you are in the weight room and doing sets with under 2 minutes rest and the guy next to you is sucking wind taking 5 minutes rest its the best feeling in the world.. Fatigue makes cowards of us all.. how would you like it if i called you a coward, you wouldn't like it too much would you? well thats who I call people who lift for a couple months and then jump on the juice when they don't have any conditioning. it takes years.. YEARS is plural btw.. to build conditioning, not months. you really think you stand a chance vs. someone like me who has been lifting for 2 decades with barely any time off? you think your muscles are gonna want to grow? do you think your heart will be able to handle the extra strain from a cycle? what about your other lipids?
you should leave the gym feeling fantastic, looking forward to the next day when you go back to conquer the deadlift or squat.. then the next day want to conquer the bench press and incline. then the next day rip off 20 pullups. bring it the fuck on! not pussy out and leave the gym with your head down in pain .. then you get your ass on the treadmill or drive to the track and rip off 2 miles like its nothing.. THATS CONDITIONING!!
if you go to the gym and do a few sets and are kneeled over fatigued or you complain about soreness then your conditioning sucks .not lift for 20 minutes doing curls then bitch that you feel a burn and go home with your head down and crying because you can't feel your arms when you drive.
when you get fatigued during your workout guess what happens? you make MISTAKES. you pull muscles, you screw up lifts, you ruin discs in your back and neck.. you half ass your technique to compensate for your shitty conditioning. you do squats barely going down, you get the point
been way too many guys lately come on here and say they been lifting for 2 months or lift on the weekends and they feel like they are ready to juice, they will go nowhere on cycle because they will fatigue fast.
now you are wondering "steve how do i build conditioning?"
easy. it starts with your diet. are you eating healthy before your workouts? a raw sweet potato on the way to the gym is a classic way to get a shit load of nutrients in your body and its easy to digest so it won't interfere with your workouts (you won't be gassy or heavy.. and yes you can also rip off cardio because sweet potato digests quickly) .. it will give you good clean calories and give you energy and strength.
next its hours put into the weight room and how often you go. if you are a weekend warrior you won't build conditioning. try and workout EVERYDAY. doesn't have to be weights, just do SOMETHING active so your muscles learn to build conditioning up. the more hours you put in, the quicker you will get conditioned. clean up your workouts, stop wasting time going to the gym 90 minutes and doing 10 minutes of quality lifting. you can have a helluva workout in less than an hour even if you clean up what you are doing.
