People in sales how do you overcome the competion to get the job?

Like most people in sales Mine is quite competive and every day I try to find new ways to close deals.Offering the best prices does not always guarantee a new Contract but combined with Excellent knowledge of products and customer service does.I'm curious how you guys Bring more to the table.Discuss

sell yourself as a person first. If they like you and trust you, they'll buy from you.

My job relies 100% on repeat sales and I have a finite number of customers so I have to maintain my integrity at all cost. First you tell the customer that it is your intention to make them more profitable and competitive, then you prove it to them through your actions. Hustle, hustle, hustle, under-promise and over-deliver. Always do what you said you would, when you said you would.

Now if you are selling something one-time and have a large potential customer base; just don't let them see what a dirtbag you are until it's too late, Shrimp.
