People in sales how do you overcome the competion to get the job?

Sales are easy if you are selling something you feel is beneficial to the customer right?... It's all in what you say, or rather how you ask the right questions, wouldn't you agree? And if you sell something they like or need and you make money at the same time then it's a win-win situation, isn't it?
 
price is nothing. always sell on value. end of the day, price is just a number. value is what brings you business, and more importantly, repeat business.
