Going for my second roadtrip down there with a different group of people and need suggestions on where to stay.

Last time I went there we stayed in hollywood for the most part. I thought it was kinda ghetto so I'm thinking about staying in Santa Monica or somewhere on the beach. That said I don't want to stay somewhere where there's no nightlife, and since we're gonna be prolly drinking, we aren't planning on driving too much.

So the places I'm currently looking at are in hollywood, beverly hills, santa monica and those close by areas that won't keep us away from the beach and clubs.

if u just want to party and not to drive. stay off sunset blvd.

if u want to drive to party - it's irrelavant where you stay. la is so spread out.

Im gonna stay in san francisco for a night also and santa barbara. One night in vegas as well but hotels are cheap tere.

And yes I dont really wanna drive to party cause it takes so long to get to places. That's why I thought hollywood would be a good idea since it has plenty of clubs.

newport beach is also pretty happenin' with good clubs too. hot white chicks. redondo beach too, to a lesser extent, but more hispanic and black chicks.

Huntington beach is very cool to walk around and party. HAWT chicks everywhere. mellow atmosphere.
i actually stay out of Hollyweird, and would never stay in any area close to it. Santa Monica at the beach is nothing more than a Mental Institution on the sand with a view....Some good food/ 3rd street promanade is way cool. (santa monica)...

Correct...I just moved from Huntington Beach to south Orange County.


It's a great time....especially this time of year. There are usually lots of surfing competitions going onn right around now.

Hermosa Beach also has some good places to stay, eat and drink... you can stay at hotel hermosa, its decent, on PCH and is a short taxi ride to the pier... good fun!
