He lost his leg due to a blood clot, naturally steroids are going to be blamed. Some Compounds like Androl & EQ increase Red blood cell count so it could be possible to develop an overabundence of clotting agents during abuse.

If he lost his legs from gangrene it has nothing to do with steroids. He could be injecting water with a dirty needle and have the same effect.

Could be blood clotting, some of the steroids increase erythrocyte (red blood cell) count to the point where blood would be more viscous and tend to clot.

another possibility could be a very bad abcess that was left untreated for a long period of time. highly unlikely I would think, as the pain would be so severe. I would think the most he would have lost would be a section of the skin/muscle where he injected.

So I'm at work today in the breakroom mixing my protein shake in my Lean Body shaker and in comes walking in one of the fat hags.

She looks at my Lean Body shaker that I'm mixing my protein shake in and says "Lean Body, is that your steroids you take everday?"

I just burst out laughing so hard that it made her put this stupid look on her face. I guess she felt like an idiot and tried to start small talk with me about Jose Canseco and asked what I thought about that whole ordeal. I told her I really didn't give a shit what they did. Then she started talking about how she read these studies about how steroids make you impotent. The whole time she was sitting there blabbing about this shit I felt like slapping the ol' hag. I swear some people are fuking idiots!! They shouldn't even be allowed to breed!!!
On another note about steroids I was watching ESPN today about that white boxer that injected a shit load of steroids so that he could beat George Foreman and ended up getting his legs amputated. Then because of his dumbass he starts going to schools and telling kids how dangerous steroids are and that if they take them there gonna end up like him all fuked up. Where do these dipshits come from?

Hey Carth,

I heard of a story where some dumbass who was abusing gear kept using the same needle over and over again for quad injections in his left leg. As a result he developed gangrene and had is left leg amputated. A few years later he started using gear again, kept using the same needle, and ended up having his other leg amputated as well.

The show that I saw this on was an expose' on the dangers of steroid use. The fact that they used this story as an example really pissed me off. This guy would have developed gangrene from using the same needle regardless of what he was injecting. It could have been insulin and it still would have happened. But, like typical morons, they instantly associated it with gear use and point fingers. Bottom line: people don't know shit. And if they don't they should just shut the fuck up.

How dull and rusty was that fucking needle?!? He would have been better off using a butter knife....

Same thing happened to me at work. I was drinking a protien shake and some old lady said Your getting bigger, is that your steroids? I said no, then had to explain what protien is for etc.
