Hi all,
Had this issue for aggges now - used to be thin as a kid - put weight on at primary school... lost it all through secondary school and now at 19 am fairly fit, OKish diet...not that much fat on me.
However, my pecs seemed to of retained this fat. My left pec is reletivly big, bigger than my right - and you can fleet a bit of fat on it. Certainly looks slightly different if you look anyway. I used to always go to the gym but this slowed down as I went uni.
After moving away to university and moving back home I decided to do a fair amount of upper body excercies as these were easy to do at home... been doing em for a few weeks and I can deffo feel alot of muscle under there but my pecs just seem bigger and when I wear tight clothing or even jumpers you can kinda tell IMO. Just not satisfied with em.
TBH - im considering stopping doing upper chest excercises - as they were only just noticable before (There, but not too bad)... and im hitting the gym again now uni is sorted - so i'l be doing a hell of a lot of CV workout.
Questions i've got really is...
What sort of workout should I look out for at the gym?
Weights wise - can I use dumbells to work my biceps and triceps, or will this affect my pecs?
Surgery... seems drastic aye but what would I need to pay to have this removed surgically? My body would be good if I could just get this lil bit of fat removed. Im in the UK btw...
Should I stop doing so much chest excercise? Im not really concerned about having a ripped set of abs and good pecs - just OK ones - lol.. I wouldn't mind continuing using dumbells for my biceps/tricepts and to imrpove my back and shoulder structure - but I need this not to affect my pecs tbh.
Any advices guys/gals? I just need something that I can stick at, get my pecs down to acceptable levels (and even them out?) I'm really really self concious.....
Thanks & regards
