pct woes

Is it best to stay away from a scale during PCT? Or is there a good reason to monitor weight throughout? I know I'll be losing water when I start next week and I'm afraid that the psychological effect of the scale reading lower and lower each day will hamper my workouts.

If you feel it will hamper you then stay away from it. Too many people let the scale run there lives. It's not a tell all. Just keep tabs on your body fat and stay away from the scale.

Yeah, this cycle I'm just finishing I really focused on putting on as much weight as possible. I got over 30 pounds in a 10 week period, which I think is good. Now I need to reprogram my mind to focus on maintaining for the next couple months before I cut. Going to be rough!!!!!

Yeah it will. I would say check your weight once every week or so just so you'll know how things are going, but keep a closer look at your bodyfat. You'll know if you losing gains b/c you strength will decrease.

I hear that. I am mid-cycle right now and am dreading losing during pct. I guess it is best to look at it long term. You started at a baseline weight, grew to baseline + gear, and after PCT you will have a new baseline.
It will help get you jacked up to start your next cycle.

Try not to look short term, look toward your long term goals. That is what I am going to try to do.

And congrats on the 30lbs, by the way. That is big time.

Good luck.

I would always go into a cycle planning on loosing about 25-30 % of the gains post cycle depending on what gear you use of course. If you gained 30, then I am guessing you used some gear that put water on you and you will loose that weight.

If you go into a cycle planning that, then you should not be too disappointed afterward.

I take precautions to keep water off, so I don't fluctuate much after a cycle. My last cycle of Prop/Tren/Winny, I did not loose 1lb of my gains post - but that is becuase of the gear I used.

I am just thinking about how much weight I want to gain my first cycle... 15 lbs after pct. I know I am prob going to gain at least 20, so after pct if im at least 245, ill be happy. I weigh myself every week, prob better to do that than everyday. Most of the loss will be water anyway bro!
