PCT question Nolvadex Adex...

for a post cycle when should I use Nolvadex and 20mg a day, and for how long

Amiridex was rated better then nolvadex,

should i just take Adex .5mg a day throught the whole cycle or get both?

Arimidex and nolvadex work in two different ways: Adex lowers estrogen by interfering with aromatase (the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to estrogen. Nolvadex simply competes with circulating estrogen for binding sites.

Arimidex is the best choice to run while on cycle to reduce estrogen levels and associated side effects. At the dosages of gear you quoted I doubt you'll need it.

Nolvadex can be used on cycle primarily to prevent gyno but it will not lower estrogen levels. Nolvadex has very good affinity for breast tissue which is why it's often used to combat breast cancer. If you start to develop gyno while on cycle, you want nolvadex right away since it will help immediately. Adex can also be added in that circumstance but it will take better than a week to get estrogen under control.

Of the two, nolvadex is definitely the one you want for PCT. It blocks the estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus which causes testosterone levels to return more quickly. Clomid can also accomplish the same thing.

Arimidex has a higher rating because that was written for cycle usage, not PCT. For PCT use clomid and nolvadex, you shouldn't have a problem recovering.

thanks guys you have been very helpfull, and completly answered my question for that, but How long after my cycle should i take the Nolvadex, and for how long, and I am assuming 20mg a day ed? This should help me hold my gains from the Test E right?

I start @ 2 weeks after my last injection and then I continue for 2 weeks, but I also use herbal supps for and additional 4 weeks in PCT.
As far as helping you keep your gains??? Nolva is not meant to help you keep gains, it is to help you recover faster. The thing that will help you keep your gains is eating...You must eat more when you are in your PCT to hold on the the majority of the gains.

To a certain extent nolvadex will help you keep your gains by minimizing the amount of time you have to spend with reduced testosterone levels.

I'd go with 40mg/day for 3 weeks, starting two weeks after your last enanthate injection.
