most places usually use wu but some take bank transfers
how does this work?
i tried a google search but i didnt find what i was looking for
how do i do this?

i only use WU, or there are some sources that you send cash to directly. these are good legit guys so you dont have to worry about being ripped off. never messed with bank transfer, sounds like too much of a paper trail bro. use wu and use a fake name .
 
bank transfer is easy you just get the account info from your source, walk in to your bank ask for a wire transfer and they will take care of it

that said, I'd never use that option for buying gear

bank wires are expensive, just as WU, so just use WU, less trouble to use fake name and keep transfer untraceable. i would never use a wire transfer for domestic sources, intl is prolly ok, but still not advised.
 
Yeah, I would advise against bank transfers - all it does is give the feds more evidence if they needed it. WU is as anonymous as it gets, worth the extra dough

I cant imagine ANY Domestic source doing a bank wire transfer...

Int'l maybe, but the ones who do it probably ARENT going to do it for a newbie :o

yes, if a domestic source offered bank wire as a payment option, i would be suspicious. that is very risky/careless.

Go to another WU, I have used Swiftpay from WU is awesome!! the source as an account with WU and you just go head filled the form put the account number put a fake name and is done!!! Happy sauce guys!!
 
Hey bros, was about to do a WU money transfer to Mexico....Can you use a fake name or am I pretty much fucked into using my real name?? I'm gonna send somewhere in the neighborhood of 300. How about WU online money transfer? Which would you suggest? Either way, doesn't matter, just wondering what to expect. Thanks bros.
 
WU verifies your name and address....just did it the other day....dont bother using a fake name to send money just have your source send to a fake name...
 
I have never had WU ask for ID or verify address info. I have a WU form in front of me now and it states ID is required on transactions over $1,000. For what it's worth I prefer WU because it leaves less of a paper trail. Cash is King !!!!

i always wonder about the other places that others say you can just use a fake name.....show me, becuase i always have to show id for any amount or i am asked to leave
even moneygram, you have to present some form of id
 
just sent money gram for the first time, wtf, at a hole in the wall bodega....yes they sell plantains...but im worried the guy fucked up somehow, he barely spoke english and the money was going to a far off european land
 
I've done mine via WU and their service charge is very expensive but nevertheless the benefits outweight the cost.
I've always been asked for my ID card, I believe it's a new policy they are implementing.
 
Ive used WU over the phone to pay, but had to use a credit card of course. So if you go to a WU location in person you can pay with cash and use a fake name and they wont ask for IDs? To even open my PO box they required 2 forms of ID. So it seems youre screwed no matter what. Arent all PO box places like that and require 2 IDs?
The law could always be granted access to your bank records too, and that would show the cash withdraw; althought they couldnt really show where the cash went to.

Well every WU place is different then. becuase the one near me always asks for id and address. once asked for my social, i was like f-U
 
I used a quicky WU at a gas station, those ppl treated me alike a hassle. quick in, quick out. No ID.

How did you pay over the phone anonymous? By doing it on the phone you need a credit card, and that would have your name on the account, so even if you give a fake name the credit card would link you to the payment.
 
I was trying one source that used e-gold and it seemed like such a pain in the ass so I scrapped that idea, stuck with good old WU but I also prefer cash.
 
Yes. From what i have noticed it just depends are who you are sending funds to and I find this interesting. I have ask the WU cleark about it before on $400 transfer where i had fake name wrote down. They wanted ID and I told them i did not have it on me. They said with this person you are sending to it says must have ID.

I think certain sources who rec a ton of funds they watch. I have even had a few times they have tried to get info by a phone interview. You never hear of problems with WU but they sure like to know everything.

isn't the fucking wu the worst thing about the whole experience, i hate going in there and giving a european name and shit and they ask if its family and i don't even know dude. just makes me uneasy

Then again I have fucked girls for alot less than a WU discount :o...I used to bang a girl who worked at KFC just so I could get free chicken every night after she got off work :D lol...:p

I wondered why I was burnin after that damn chicken girl! Damn you term! :) I loved her chicken though. Oh, and I'll only pay cash for chicken.
