Paxil+Roids=????????

There has been a lot of post on paxil , do a search . And check out this post by MOD .I recently was prescribed it too , but decided against taking it because of this post .

How does paxil make you gain weight??? Is it that somehow it makes you store more fat, or is that a lot of people just simply get lazy and don't exercise as much??

doctors won't tell you the horror of going on paxil then trying to get off. that shit mess you up in the head and is despite what any lieing dr says addictive. if you depressed go with something else

No bro, i'm not depressed at all. The reason I'm going to be taking it is because sometimes I get eral anxious and wired up. Probably from the gear. Anyways, whats with the weight gain thing. I sit because people tend to gety lazy while on it, or does it somehow make you store more fat???

The weight gain is a mystery to both physicians and pharmacists alike. One theory is that with anxiety there may be a change in appetite, therefore alleaving the anxiety would stimulate the appetite. Others say that there may be a chemical component to storing more fat, but there is inclunclusive evidence surrounding this. I believe that weight gain is dependant on the dosage, and I have seen no difference in myself on 20mg a day. However when I was practicing therapy many of my younger clients tended to gain a good amount of weight from the Paxil.
