I am in more need of cardio than the rest of you, so I started by doing a mile run on the treadmill, then I went into the leg exercises. Felt very good. My left knee felt like it was going to explode while doing squats (Had surgery a few years back), but it was good. The ab workout almost killed me. I feel exausted, but can't wait to hit the gym again tomorrow.

Ate very clean and good today. I feel good after day #1.

good luck

I woke up this morning feel sore, not bad sore, but good sore. I am going to do some cardio in the am and then after work tonight, do the chest, shoulder, and tricep exercises.

Omega, I sent you a PM with my number.

partagus I left a message.

We will catvh up tomorrow and latest by Thursday
But I will spend as much time as you need to get you on track

no worries :)

The Chest workout was awesome! I am spent. Another great day on the diet as well. I was also on TV today (CBC w/Katie Curic). It was a good day.

Omega, I am sorry I missed your call. While i am at work, I don't have my phone with me. I will be there most of the day tomorrow, but I am off on Thursday. Thanks for the help.

The place where I work changed our health insurance. Our insurance deductiable is based on five different criteria (BMI, Tobacco User, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Blood Sugar). The more of them you pass, the less your deductiable is. Our company went from being $500,000 in the red to $1,000,000 in the black just by switching our insurance. That is a huge swing for a 12 month time period. The story made some national headlines.

When I started the job, I was about 270 lbs. I dropped down to 230 and passed everything except the BMI. Two of my co-workers also lost a lot of weight so they interviewed us. Dean Renyolds interviewed us for about 90 minutes. I think the entire clip they aired was under 2 minutes long. It was pretty cool though. They also took our pics for a magazine that's coming out in a few months.

I still have a ton or work to do as I gained 15 pounds in the last two months (Damn vacations). My goals on the project is to lose 40 pounds, and be ready to do a test cycle February 1st.

I am not sure if there is a clip or not, maybe on CBSs website?

its all you need for perfect chest

just channel your energy mind into the movements

chest is very much "finesse" muscle that is cultivated with FORM and contraction NOT weight

that is awesome. congrats

Gentlemen,

I won't be on much or at all this week. There was a death in my family and I will be out of town. I'll be back in action next week. I didn't want anyone to confuse my absense as dropping out of the program. Thanks.

sorry to hear about your loss. Let us know if we can do anythig.

Jamie

Thanks for the support Jamie. There is something you could do. Just go a head and send me all the extra gear you have. I think that would do a lot to ease my pain. :)

Seriously, thank you.

I am back in town. I got in late last evening. Hit the gym today. My routine is a little different than you guys because I work out four days in a row. I did day one today and it felt great to be back in the gym. With being off last week, I forgot how much I enjoy getting in there and getting sweaty. Looking forward to tomorrow.

great to see you back!

Another great workout logged in today. Still working on the diet and supps, getting them both dialed in. How do I e-mail EFFRANK? I forgot. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your loss man, just let us EF bros know what we can do to help. Glad to hear your back in the gym though... Look at the weight room as a temple to channel your stress.

I am still here and still rolling. I am hitting the gym four times a week and doing cardio on a fifth day. I am going to prolong phase #1 because I am two weeks behind everyone else (One week sick and one week out for a funeral). I am making fantastic progress so far. I look thinner in the face, and I can actually see muscle on my arms and shoulders! I have the diet dialed in and the weight is coming off. I still have a ways to go, and I am hoping to start level two in January. I have been quiet, but I am still here, and I am still making progress.

Partragus on the account on 1 month paid now equaling 6 weeks

you have 2 more weeks of us to harass you at least :rainbow:

is that ok?

:)

Awesome OMEGA! I can't thank you enough!

Gents,

I just got home from working 10 hours and then the gym. Tonight was an awesome workout. Tonight was the first night I actually felt strong! It's all starting to come together now, the diet, the supps, the workout routine. I am no where near the level of you other guys, I am only starting out, but man, tonight was great. I can't wait to go back tomorrow! Thanks Omega!

What are the key lifts? The lifts we do when our rep set is 7?

What Lifts do I keep Track of?
Legs:
Leg Presses , Squat

Calves:
Last series of Seated Calf Raises

Back:
1 Arm Rows

Traps:
Shrugs

Biceps:
Barbell Curls

Triceps:
Press downs

Chest:
Incline Presses
Cable Fys

Shoulders:
Military Presses

those are the "Core" movements that are the only ones you need to keep track of......... EVER.

OMEGA,

I will have my key lifts later today for you. I must say, I am impressed with my progress. My legs are f-ing huge! Getting ready to head to the gym now, and I will pos key lifts later.

you legs are Huge Exactly!

this training ( The Black Swan article) yields True Granite legs but ALSO lengthens those muscle bellies form Knee to hip/pelvic area

in time you will have cuts all the way up to your hip/pelvic area

This is where I am at:

One Arm Rows- 75 lbs (7 reps)
Shoulder Shrugs 70 lbs (7 reps)
Bicep Curls 65 (7 reps)
Tricep Pull-downs 100 lbs (7 reps)
Incline dumbbell presses 60 lbs (7 reps)
Cable flys- 75 (7 reps)

This is where I am at right now. Tomorrow we work legs so i will post that info tmorrow evening. I am a little pissed off because my gym is closed all next week! DAMN!!!!!

Awsome!

the only list that need work is the Incline 65 -70 will do and no need to go past 70 for a long while ( literally the next year or two)

Very good numbers I think

You honestly think so OMEGA? The problem that I am haiving with the incline dumbell presses, is Once I get to 60 lbs, and this is embarressing, I can't get them up. I am sitting there and I have to have my partner help me get them up. Once I get them in position, I can power through the reps, but I just struggle in getting them into position. Thanks, and it's good to you're back!

yes I do ( goo numbers)

think about it, 70's are only 30 pounds from 100?s :)

and thwy way we do our reps is NO chaetine , hence Pure Muscle power.

and there is No reason to EVER go past 100's in your LIFE

and thats is your a big boy too

I better do that "how strong you need to be article" soon

We did legs today. Here are my reps for legs:

Leg Presses 435 Lbs (7 Reps)

We worked the program, set #1, lighter weight, 25 reps, then gradually increased weight and dropped reps down to 15 etc. I was going to do 390 and my partner said "I bet you can do 430". So I gave it a try and I was able to power through it. I forgot to remove the 5 pound slider weight before I started. If I could just get my upper body to look like my legs, I'd be all set!!

Seated Calf raises 320 lbs (12 reps, diamonds, 3 sets)

Military presses fall into tomorrows stuff and I will post them on here. Thanks again Omega

sorry for my typos above

Upper Body takes longer to develop for some but when it fills in and as you get leaner the body evens out, it just takes TIME and the continued application of stress strategically applied.

Omega,

I have NOT beein in the gym for the past TWO WEEKS! I suffered an injury to my right thumb at work the week before Christmas. I did a little ligiment damage and I am wearing a soft splint to immobalize my thumb.

I should have the splint on another week or two. My thumb was feeling good yesterday, but it is sore again today. I am planning on getting back in the gym next week. I went to the gym a few times after I injured it, but I probably shouldn't have. I figure with being out of the gym for two, long, whole, boring weeks, it should be strong enough.

The last two months have been terrible. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. I am not going to let it keep me down. Circumstances are what you make of them and I am looking to get back on track ASAP. Planning on getting back in the gym Sunday or Monday. Once I do, I will log my key lifts.

My return to the gym was delayed a day. We had a tornado so I had to stay home with my family. We're all good, but one did touch down about a mile away from us. Got back in the gym tonight. I felt weak from not being there in two weeks. I don't know how much of it was loss of strength and how much of it was mental. I started feeling better at the end of the workout. The longer the workout went on, the better it got. I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am going to do two more weeks at phase #1, then move on to phase #2. I will post everything up at the end of the week. It's great to see all the new people here. This is the real deal people. Prepare to be amazed.
