...Christ and I thought that dogs were a chick magnet. I'm running errands with my 5 year old and I've had a few chicks approach him and me.

I usually wear my ring on the first finger (rather then the ring finger) because I'm too lazy to get it re-sized; so it makes for an interesting conversation.

yep, the younger and smaller the better. I get this all the time when I carry my 6 month old around (or push him in the stroller - but it's easier to see him when I carry him). Even walking through the mall with my wife and her pushing the stroller and me carrying him. Women/girls will ignore her altogether and comment how it's so cute that I'm carrying him, etc. She tells me no one ever approaches her when she carries him. LOL!
