Don't ever post here but what the hell, not really one of the kewl kids nor do I aspire to be.... this weekend was the first time my daughter ever called me "Daddy," it's always been "Dah-dah" and she's two and a half.
For me there's a big difference between being a "Dad" and being a "Daddy." I only get her a limited time, had to fight for every minute and still am doing so, got her on Thursday and had to take her the doctor on Friday, that really doesn't mean anything other thnican I think she knows what I am and who I'm trying to be in her life. I know most of you could care less but someone started a thread about parenting and I decided to share, she is very dear to me and this was a special time.
Big props to all you parents that are there for their kids.
