alrite this absolutely sux....we hear this story every couple months it seems like but here goes...

iim 21 senior in college...had some fina and pins send to my school address but they shipped it to my billing address instead even though i said send HERE....my parents argued about hte package for a little bit (my dad told me their story) my dad bet a 100bux to my mom it wasnt that shit..cuz mom thoguht it was somethign bad...something happened be4 and i made a bond with my dad that i wouldnt ever touch juice or whatever....and this now comes...
.

im tryin to tell them its not as bad as it looks and ive researched and i know what im doing....

what do i tell them...i wont be home till december 14th but ill be talkin to them be4 then obviosly as well

my mom was gona make me see a shrink cuz she thought i had a juice problem...didnt matter how much research i showed her i did, just something u will have to work through with them...i gave her two amps of winny, and said it was my final stash and i was quitting for good!

yeah, i went that route, and my mom accused me of trying to turn shit around...i told her i was still hurt over me and my girl breaking up, and used it as a way out...then turned the subject into why i am better off without her...i am a master manipulator! the science never works...parents, gf's, etc. have their mind made up, and that is it!
 
Tell them your doing a school project for chemistry, to determine the effects of juice. J/K.

Just tell them that it is none of their business with what you take, as long as you are not out there doing harm to anyone else.

If I were your parents, I would keep your juice away from you until you brought your grades up. Reading your post, I haven't the first clue what college you might be going to.

Second, why would you even make a bond with your father over something you KNEW you would break?

Third, these are not the answers you want to hear, but you need to.
 
i am 29 and have lived on my own for 12 years, and my mom who is a nurse, was still trying to lecture me on steroid use. That was until I pointed out that her and my dad both drink almost every day, and smoke a pack a day, which makes them far more unhealthy than me. I also get blood work done regularily that proves I'm healthy, but they were unable to come up with the same
now my mom wants gh and test for my dad

Obviously his college does not require a command of the English language, like spelling and punctuation and writing, for admittance.

ehh im gettin a 3.8 in my english class and this is my 3-4th year speaking english so it should really tell you what schools are all about these days.

I dont know though, I do go to a juco so maybe that explains it, plus my basketball coach had a word with my teacher but who knows.



but next time you fools need to get a mailbox at a UPS store or something and change your billing address to that... it only costs like what 40 bucks for 3 months or something

Anybody with even an ounce of slef-esteem would take a few seconds to write legibly.

SPECIALLY when the person is a senior in University.

I'm on a crusade to get rid of the dumb as a doorknob bodybuilder/athlete steretype that plagues us. :)

I personally hate the dumb bodybuilder myth too, having an honours degree myself but being looked at as a big dumb bodybuilder by many, but I dont think insulting people on there posts is the way to go about it

i think some US colleges are a joke.......before comming to the US i didnt know what the word "essay" means... i didnt write any paper in english before. but for my suprise i had A in my wrting and critical thinking class.......till now i cant understand how i did got A i that class........ english is my second language and my spilling skills sucks like shit.............funny thing many native speakers (Americans) failed the class!!!!!!!

This is exactly what I was thinking. You are a 21 year old man, do what you gotta do and go on with it. If your parents get on your back too much, remind them you are man who is capable of making his own choices. This is exactly what I told my Pop a couple of years ago and he now leaves me alone. (now 23) If anything I feel bad that your Mom knows, because about half of all women are fucking crazy. Trying to deal with someone who thinks irrationally can be quite a challenge.

you do your homework, show your teacher you are working hard, get some help from others and its a junior college

what do you expect? the only time that I had trouble in my english class was during my last semester in HS where I got a D cause I didnt do any homework... it was british literature or something.
I knwo its probobly harder in a 4 year university but we'll see about that next spring.

oh yea and some help from my coach, as long as you do what you are told and put some effort into it then its gonna be fine.

I got 100% on all of my homeworks and class assignments and 3.0-3.4 on my papers, so as of now it adds up to around 3.8

P.S. english is my 4th language too

My ma came across some syringes/needles one time. When I told her it was roids she was actually relieved I wasn't shooting heroin or something.
I still got the concerned lecture and still do to this day. I just let her know everything's in order when I get a checkup from the doc.

Two things:

SofaGeorge is right, you're going to have to deal with the truth but make sure that your parents don't tell it to your uncles and aunts etc. Otherwise you'll be the subject of shady conversations in every family reunion, and even though steroid use may not be that bad, everyone is quick to make their own judgments.

Second, the spelling criticism is bullshit. I go to an Ivy League school and I don't give a fuck how I spell on these boards. I'm not double checking what I wrote. I actually get annoyed when people try to sound like they're so much better than others.

Bro, on a daily basis I deal with the top assignment editors of every major news organization. None of them can spell or use proper punctuation and grammar in their emails.
 
why on earth do you people send this shit to your own addresses in your own names? Not only is it just plain stupid because its illegal, but its just asking to get fucked. Get a damn fake id, open a MBE under the fake name and go at night to pick up your shit or wear a hat so the cameras don't catch you. Either that or send to an abandoned house, or apartment complex with old people living there, or a college campus - someones elses box #. You deserve to get caught if you don;t do this. Also you should have realized that theres almost no online place that will send a package to a different address then the billing address because credit card fraud is at an all time high and they want to cover there asses from getting screwed over.

My parents know I'm on HRT (hell I brought my dad to the same HRT doc to get him fixed up). Beyond that, they have no idea that I supplement above my HRT. They probably suspect it and if they ask I will deny it. I see no reason that parents should need to know.

Being a child or an adult is not about a number, its about The Life You Lead.

If you are paying your own way and making your own decisions, and taking RESPONSIBILITY for them, fine.

But if you are having the parents pay your way in life, or supply you with free rent, or cover your ass with respect to your decisions and choices - then you are a kid no matter what "age" you are. And if that's the case, they have every right to dictate what you can and cannot do.

This is an all-too-common problem with some guys like 18-24. They want to have Mommy and Daddy take care of them, pay their way and cover their ass, but yet they whine when they aren't in control of their lives.

Get real.

But that is not really the issue. Put it this way, lets say he was actually moved out and had a job already when this happened. And for some reason gave his old addy instead of his new one when he ordered the stuff. His parents would not approve either way and he'd still have to see them no matter what. I understand where you are coming from bro, but just because you are not totally paying your way through school doesn't automatically make you a child who cannot make complex decisions.

i find it amusing everyone giving him advice to tell his parents to fuck off...i could be thirty with a family, and my parents would be devastasted about AAS usage...it has nothing to do when u go on your own...my parents support me at age 21, and i bet im more grown up and mature than most people on their own since 18...dont resent that they love and care about you...now it just comes down to resolving your differences
 
When you pay your own way and support yourself you make the rules. When someone is supporting you they make the rules.

Remember when parents use to say, "As long as you live under my roof you do as I say. When you're out on your own you can do what you want."

As to the issue of spelling, grammer and basic literacy: as we grow increasingly permissive as to how we speak, write, act and comport ourselves the trend will always tend toward the degenerate. If there's no longer any stigma attached to poor grammer, spelling and conduct then that's what we will have because it takes effort to do anything properly and even more so to do it well. Maybe some will say, "Who cares? I'll spell however I want, talk however I want, and act however I want." Fair enough. It's a free country. That seems to be the trend anyway. And it shows as we are becoming an increasingly ignorant, rude and self-absorbed culture. Maybe to some, perhaps most, that's no big deal but, for my part, I would be horrified and ashamed to learn that my son, whom I've invested a great deal of money for his education and is a senior in college, can even spell or construct a simple sentence. Sure, there are some well educated people that can't either but I don't think that's anything to brag about.

I'm glad when people point out egregious behavior of any sort. And I'm not talking about the pedantic, nit-picking slips we all commit but the gross disregard for any rules, courtesies, codes of conduct and manners of speech and writing. If more people did call attention to such behavior then maybe we can bring back some stigma and a sense of shame for unacceptable conduct. But I'm not hopeful as we have seemed to have loss all sense of shame and propriety and I have resigned myself to having to stand in line behind a person at the gorcery store and listen to their loud conversation on their cell phone as they curse, talk about their sex life and that they're "just dying to take a piss." Then there are those guys in the gym that roll up their sleeves and pipe while using the squat rack to do 50 lb curls. Talk about being self-absorbed and not giving a damn about anybody but themselves. They should be publicy shunned or perferably stoned to death.

but theres still people that can get by pretty good.
