I'm home for the summer.
I'm too old to be excited about my parents being gone for a week.
It is kind of old already.
I have to go to bed soon so I can wake up and do work stuff.

Well, I guess we have our 30th to look forward to.

I don't want a butterfly - or a fairy.
I want one that goes from my upper back around my ribs and down to my lower stomach. Probably just black. I dont know what I want though.

yeah, most people cry about their 30th tho. I'll welcome it with open arms.

That sounds tight. I've been surprised at the amount of chicks here who have similar tats. haven't seen many of those, but quite a few of the side of the torso tats. I like the placement.

Me too, I think the placement is perfect.
But all I have seen there is stars and lotus flowers.
I just need to meet with an tattoo artist and come up with a design that I like. I probably wont get it for at least 6 months. I want to be sure it is perfect.

Yep, tons of stars. There are some great options for that space since it's so vertical but can stretch horizontal too. It's a really good place for pin-up type tats if you're into that style

I think the pin-up tats are nice - I've met some girls with beautiful ones. But I don't think I want one for my first. I want something that is big and simple and easy to add on to. I might start with one on my shoulder of my lower stomach and then add on later. Big decisions here.

I've been thinking about one for prob 10 years now, lol. Problem is, everything I really like is super detailed and relatively big and I'm a little hesitant about it.

If I am going to get one I want a big one. I've shown friends and family my ideas - they always say that they are too big and that I am nuts.

Man, it totally depends. One of 3 places:

Upper arm (I'd LOVE to get a half sleeve someday) if it's not too big
Upper back
Upper back to upper arm around the shoulder (did that make sense?). So either starting at the upper arm and moving towards the center of my back or the reverse.

But you know, it depends on what I want for the design.

Chicks with half sleeves are one of my fetishes. I couldn't either cause of work, unfortunately.

I do want color. It sucks that it will prob need to be retouched at some point, but yeah, color makes it so much better.

you need to keep thinking about it and planning for it. Take your time and then in about 10 yrs you will have outgrown the notion.

The pyramid was the first thing I saw when I came home from work.
I needed a picture.
I did many productive things at work today.
I wrote memos.
Memos are way better than Budweiser.
