Pants for the wife

New member
My wife is training for her first show in four weeks and has been hitting the hell out of her legs. Unbelievable progress, first off but here's the problem.
None of her tight pants fit over her quads and hams anymore. Stretch is an option but we were wondering if any you girls have a particular brand of Jeans that happen to fit in the legs. We can get them to fit the legs but then the waist is all bunched up and she wears low rise as it is. Any help you can kick in is appreciated.

I had the same problem over the winter, but just went to stretch. I would suggest maybe going up a size and having a taylor take in the waste and hip area...Never tried it but just a though. If you do happen to find a brand that accomodates larger legs please don't hold out on us.

Which style? That is the exact brand I had trouble with, but maybe it was just the style.

Maggies
They sit low and they're strechy..

lol - I need to do laundry more often....

Thanks. I'll check it out. We have one major Lucky brand retailor (aside from a few dept. stores that only have 2-3 styles.) I detest entering the labrynth of overbearing salespersons better known as "The Buckle."

Go to Levi.com and do their fit test programs and stuff.
I got the Cinch back jean, its basically a 501, with the waist and hip tailored to be narrower, and a little strap on the back. a woman with big legs should be able to fit into a levi's 550 for instance.
