I used to be addicted to dilaudid (hydromorphone) and nubain (nalbuphaine hcl), I also had some of those 40mg oxycontins these were all for the surgery that I had though. Until I started getting a connection for 4mg dilaudids. I would rather die than withdrawl from opiates again...it was a living hell...Remember, the body can cope with things like drugs in moderation but it is better to not alter your neurochemistry at all, you will be way better off...Gpro

i took oxycontin for 2 yrs for lower back pain ,i had 1 failed surgery and know scar tissue has formed around the nerve root.it kills me every single day of my life,but however i just came off them on my own with a graduall decline of dosages.i was up to 240mg 2x's a day.bottom line it is all will power,wheather you want to come off them is always up to you .i have 1400 80mg doses sitting in my cabinet and i don't feel the least tempted to take them.

if you have a legit back problem then go to the doctor its hard for them to not to prove you aren't hurting i get 120 lorcet 10mg whigh are stronger then vicks and 120 soma muscle relaxer my back has not been the same since my car accident i have to take pain killers just to work out

oxys are dangerous!
to me it sounds like the majority of the users and want to be users are doing it for the "high". i have had 3 surgeries on the L5-S1 disk and am now hampered for life with a mass of scar tissue encapsillating the nerve roots. getting out of bed, making love to my wife, and performing most other everyday functions that others take for granted are filled with pain and discomfort.
to top it all off i am blessed with an extremely addictive personality. i have gone through the whole gammet of the different pain medications, using them all, finally reaching the oxycontin for the time release and the roxicodone for the instant breakthrough pain about 3 months ago. i have already had to go through a personally forced withdrawal from the oxys after only 2 weeks of use. luckily i am blessed with the will power to step back and evaluate myself and quit/change things that i am uncomfortable with. now i am very conscientious of when i take my medication(which i do take again, but i will not let myself lose control again) and how much i take.
WHAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SAY IN THIS LONG LIFE STORY IS, OXYCONTIN IS EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE, EVEN FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN USING OTHER PAIN MEDS REGULARLY FOR YEARS. AND LIKE WHAT WAS SAID ABOVE, THE WITHDRAWAL FROM NARCOTICS IS WORSE THAN ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN IMAGINE OR WILL EXPERIENCE WITH ANYTHING ELSE IN YOUR LIFE. I AM NOT HERE TO LECTURE OR PREACH AT ANYBODY, JUST TO WARN YOU TO THINK HARD AND CONSIDER THE POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES FROM EVEN EXPERIMENTAL USE.
by the way they normally sell for $1 per mg on the black market.

20mg=pink
40mg=mustard yellow
80mg=greenish
160mg=grayish
they don't come in 120mg that i am aware of, and i don't know what color the 15mg tabs are.
