Painful Quad injection question

I just started on my 3rd cycle 3 days ago. I've always injected in my quads.
I injected 1 cc of Hexadex 450 by Sciroxx 3 days ago. It burned a little more the other tests mixes I've used in the past, but it wasn't too bad. HOWEVER, the next day when i woke up, my quad was extremely sore. Not at the injection site, but more below the injection site and surrounding area of the muscle. I've had a few times when my quad would be sore a day or two after injection, but not like this. It literally feels like I got kicked in the leg by a mule! Seriously. It hurts to touch, and when I bend my leg, it feels like a bad cramp. I've tried to massage it and that gives some relief, and a hot bath helps too, but it's only temporary relief.
What do you guys think caused this extreme soreness? Did I hit a nerve or something? I use a 22g 1 inch, same as I've always used. I'm sure the soreness will go away in time, but I would really like to know what caused it so I can hopefully avoid doing it again.

If you hit a nerve you would feel it right away and pull the needle out.

Same thing happened to me when I shot Test Prop in my quad. It got swollen/sore below the area of injection.

What I did, and worked really well for me, massage it as hard as you can(see how much pain you can handle) with some heat cream. After that stretch the quad. I had no range of motion it hurt that bad, slowly stretch it until you have decent range. Stretch it for a good 3-5 minutes.

Finally put ice on it for 20 minutes and you're done.

Next day I woke up and I could walk instead of limp, and the swelling went down significantly.

Double check your injection point in the quad. It's upper outer.

Happened to me with sustanon 300. I warmed the syringe up with warm water and injected slower.

This is happening to me now with Sus 300 ive tried all those tricks with very little results. Not my first time neither. Any ideas if the gear is bad or too much BA. Injection location is correct, correct needle etc. Something in the gear im guessing

Try glute injections, especially for test mixes and shorter esters.

^This. You guys are crazy if you're injecting into the quad haha I'd feel like a gimp if I injected there instead of the upper glute. My two friends did test cyp and they both used the upper glute for the injection area with minimal soreness/blood coming out. Just a thought.
