I am posting this on a few of EF's boards.
I have had to stop training for a while. I haven't been able to train legs in 5 months. I am going to France for ligament cortisol injections in August. I will possibly have an operation in October (injections are not always successful). Cycle no.3 is on hold until November at least. Muscle has fallen of me!
After much hassle, I have discovered that I have a condition called pudendal nerve entrapment (sometimes referred to as pudendal neuropathy or cyclists syndrome). Bicyclists, body-builders and women in labour are more likely to get this condition.
I and others firmly believe that DEEP leg-presses/squats can cause this difficult to treat condition. Diagnosis is difficult to obtain, since there are few specialists. Most doctors will diagnose other conditions. I live in the UK, but am going to France for treatment.
I am interested in whether any of you have these symptoms:
1. NO PAIN when standing.
2. Pain on sitting- in the pudendal area (the taint) - i.e. that bit betwen your balls and anus.
and possibly:
3. Pain on orgasm or blunted (diminished orgasm) and dimished penile sensation that may come and go.
Any of these symptoms may come and go.
Anyone?
Just interested.
