P.O. Box

Has anyone rented a P.O. Box at Mail Box Etc to receive their gear? I've got an overseas source and don't want my wife asking questions about why I'm getting packages from across the Pacific...

Is this a safe method or is the *security* higher at these places?

Also do you think that customs is more suspicious of packages going to P.O. Boxes from hot parts of the world? Would a package going to a box have any more of a chance of being seized?

I dunno about the overseas part but my source is here in the usa, and I have a PO box and everything was fine!!!!!

If you are ordering from overseas a p.o. box raises more "red flags" than a street address. If you are ordering from Thailand I would reconsider. Thailand is a "hot" country with a lot of seizures from U.S. customs.

find a place that doesn't use PO in their address. We have a mail place here that has an actual street address:

If you use a PO box..order in small lots so that the gear fits in your box. Otherwise, you'll have to go to the front desk to pick it up

Have you placed your order yet? I really would avoid Thailand! It raises too many flags with customs. good luck bro.

NO THAILAND UNLESS YOU WANT to meet your local Postal Inspector.

Wouldn't take that chance in a million years anymore.

There are better and safer choices.

hey bro, I live in MN and I just posted a thread on the board about p.o. boxes. Here I ordered some syrenges and there was a 100 of them and they held it in the safe and I had to sign for it. Then about a week later my gear came and it was a small package and it could have fit in my box but they had it in the safe again. So i still signed. My packaging from my source is excellent in packaging so that helps. I say do it up bro.
