Hey guys,
I've decided to overclock my nvidia 9500gt. Does anyone have any experience doing so on this type of video card? I'm currently using a RivaTuner to do the clocking. The GPU has a idle temperature of 45 C and when I run 3d games it can jump up to 58 C depending on how much I'm overclocking it.
The default factory clock setting is 550Core clock 1400 shader clock and 333memory clock (ddr2).
I've since clocked it to 738Core clock 1768 shader clock and 444memory clock without any issue. The temperature does jump up a little bit, but stays below 60 celsius. Is 60 celsius safe? I heard you can do it all the way up to 80 without trouble.
