Our laws are not based on the freakin 10 commandments!

Ahhh!!! religious zealots are insane! We only have laws based on three of the commandments that I can find. I have not found laws against:

(1) worshipping another god as prohibited by the first commandment

(2) no laws against not resting on Sunday

(3) you're free to use the lords name however the fuck you want to God Damn it!

(4) You can covet anything belonging to your neighbor including his wife or ass

The only ones that I can find laws about are killing, stealing, and adultery (even though nobody ever gets legally busted for it unless you consider divorce being busted)

You forgot the 11th commandment:
Thou shalt not create lame threads.

The Commandment says "(4) You can['t] covet anything belonging to your neighbor including his wife or ass"

Is that to mean straights cant covet the neighbor's wife and gays cant covet the neighbor's ass? Or is it a redundancy meaning don't covet the neighbors wife and goddamnit, don't covet any piece of ass the neighbor gets. OTOH, if he's is married, I doubt if he gets too much of that anyway -- at least not as much as before marriage.

As to the Commandment about worshiping any other gods, that's sounds like government, big business, cult leaders, etc. THEY HATE ANY COMPETITION -- that is, they covet any worship or veneration given to anyone else!

The jewish, Catholic and protestant 10 commandments are actually different.

FYI.

Yeah, but everyone knows that the King James or Old Testament 10 commandments are the only ones that count. Just ask Curling

well, since those are both different, it;s tough to see where you;re coming from.

Just picking nits.

Was God too ashamed to put number 11 on the list: Thou shalt not create any angels as tough as you are [e.g., Lucifer] nor any places in creation wherst thou canst travel [e.g., Hell].

I actually meant this as an "either or" statement. Whichever set of commandements that Curling and Judge Moore believe in are the correct ones.
