please post your favorite CKD meal. it must be easy to make and not so expensive :)

take ground beef 1lbs, slice 1 onion in very very very small pcs.

add salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon baking soda (or a little bit of mineral sparkling water like 4 tablespoons)

mix everything. leave it in fridge to stay for 4 hours.
make burgers out of it, grill it or put it in pan with some oliven oil.

on the end add one tablespoon of sour cream on the top of each burger and a little bit of sliced garlic.

it rocks :)

another meal that i like:
make eggs in the pan ( whatever way u like it)
on the end add some sour cream on the top of eggs. add parmasan cheese on the top of it.
n-joy.

I really think there ought to be a CKD board because it seems to be about 80% of the questions that are on this board.

Call me crazy, but I look forward to those Tbsp`s of Flax oil.

use real mayo! I'm just getting used to putting mayo on spinach leaves... Anyone found any dressings that are high in fat and tasty w/ no carbs?

Canola mayo! Or Trader Joe's wasabi mayo - that stuff is to die for.

Breakfast skillet fry:

2 eggs (or more)
4 slices turkey bacon
1 tsp olive/canola oil
salt and pepper

In a small frying pan (omelette size), heat 1 tsp olive/canola oil. Cut 4 pieces of turkey bacon into small pieces, add to oil and cover the entire bottom of the frying pan. Crack 2 eggs over the mixture (I break the yolks, too), add salt and pepper to taste, and let fry until the bottom is firm enough to flip. Flip once, and fry a little longer to desired constitency. Slide off onto a plate and enjoy. This is my breakfast, every day - sometimes substituting a carb-free sausage for the turkey bacon. Only 2 grams of carbs from the eggs.
