opening and filling from amps

If we're talking amps...Why hasn't anyone recommended a pen cap? Just put a pen cap over the top part of the amp, and snap it off.

If you're going to be using amps a lot, the amp opener looks like a great investment to me. I've had some bad experiences with badly made amps (CYTAHOH) shattering when trying to snap them open. Thank God I had taken a friend's advice and grabbed the amp through a doubled-up sock when trying to open, otherwise I'd have sliced my fingers all to hell. I've noticed that most amps snap nicely, but why risk losing even one precious cc of oil when the amp opener is going to cost under $20?
