The city I live in recently had a grand opening for a very nice river front park that they just completed. Nice trails and walking bridges down along the river. An amphitheater for concerts and plays, really very nice. Right now most of the trails, bridges and walkways are under water, seeing as how they built it in a flood zone. Oh well, what's a few million dollars.
I guess they can always raise my property taxes so they can throw some more money at it.
