Ongoing Hospital Battles Continued

the ongoing tribulations of pancrestis. just returned from Orlando late last night. had some blood work done last week thye called me Friday wanting to do a surguery today as my pancreas enzyems ( amalyase and lipase) are once again extremely high and my pain once again becoming unbearable. Will go to St Davids out patient on Wednesday to have a stint placed inside my pancreas wall and with my enzymes being high and my pain being high the last time this procedure was done it put me into very accute pancreastis and I was rushed to the hospital thinking I was gonna have an exploded pancreas it hurt so much. They gave me 5 shots of morphine to get my pain level down. This makes since May 6 times back in the hospital with this painful shit. They think the stint will allow the bile duct to flow better and not clog and will keep it in for 4 weeks. If after 4 weeks when removed if no problems they will once again cut open my pancreas. this has become a very unpleasant summetr and nor begin of fall and is really bringing me down. Since May 25 days in the hospital and it appears I will now add to that.

Warning: Absolutely, under no circumstances, do you want to be in St. Davids around Christmas.
It's a Catholic hospital, and everybody takes off for the holidays,
and they're drastically understaffed around Christmas.
I know what I'm talking about, and could have filed lawsuit over it but decided to let it go.

good luck and hope the surgery helps :)

can be removed but I have no gallbladder and if removed I would be put into instant diabetes which is not a good option. the pancreas a small little organ can kill ya or cause pancretic cancer if ongoing problems occur so at this point my options are not good and hopefully the stint will be the fix. first cutting and stint done in june did not help at all.

If you are for real.. you can have my gall bladder.;)

Either way.. I wish ya my best.

just think a "rednecks" gallbladder inside of a gay republican. would that even work? I would be spitting chew while wearing an Amarni evening wear suit and of course still be well tanned. (lol)

Are you on a maintenance regimine to prevent further deterioration?

no they don't know why it occurs. they think but placing in the stint it may cease and in that case they would make another cut and I MAYBE fine. The problem is last time they did this it did not work.

They have me on enzymes that help with food digestion but its hard for me to always take them and to be honest its not how I want to live as it only masks the problem. They also have me on prevacid as I get very bad heart burn and this will be gross I burp acid vomit into my mouth which burns like hell and taste even worse.

Mediaction only helps short term

LMAO. Good to see you've still got a sense of humor. Sorry to hear about this shit again. Hope the procedure goes well, and at least it's outpatient.
