Go directly through the airline. I learned the hard way that Travelocity doesn't allow one-way tix either.

most of the time you can get a roundtrip cheaper than a one way , btw you can do a one way off expedia , just click on the drop down box that says roundtrip and change it to one way

That's why my parents get one hoilday. I don't celebrate X-mas, so by default they get Thanksgiving. This year, my sister is coming to see me.

You may find a bargain if you give them more flexibility in the exact travel day. You seem to be asking for one of the busiest days.

Just ask for November rates and pick out the best one for you...I have done this several times.

i know right... just happens it this month and i need to pick it up now.... and only days off work are wed and th (thanksgiving)

You think you got it tough. I'm trying to figure out how to hit up Dallas and Atlanta in one trip.

a) fly RT to Atlanta (with plane change in dallas) and extend Dallas layover for a few days on the way back or
b) get a RT to Dallas for 10 days, then get a RT from Dallas to ATL in the middle
c) one way to ATL, one way to dallas, one way back to LAX
