Well, standard except in case of war, it would be bumped up to a Summary Court Martial offense in the Navy, instead of NJP. He's going to get at best a Big Chicken Dinner and brig time.
Yep. Dumb move on his part. He could've gotten promotoed, slacked off like the rest of the NCO's , and got out early for college getting him home in April or so of '06.
