first let me offer my condolences and offer my support to you and the family of the man who was lost.
i read in your post that your friend was over the sterring wheel when the air bag was deployed. i'm not sure if you're aware of this but there is much litigation here in the us because certian cars were shown to repeatedly deploy airbags up to 1 second late thus causing greater injury and loss of life. his family should look into this. as someone who is not affected by this emotionally all I can say is look into this. Please don't do it for the money but to insure that these morons (car producers) stop giving the general public a sense of safety when it really shouldn't...
