On Cycle Cardio Question........

I'm not lookin for a six pack and I want to pack on some pounds w/ my Test cycle. Been eating good but alot, about 3500-4000 cals a day.
How much cardio should I be doing just to keep my abs in check while trying to bulk?
Plus Var is starting next week which helps a little. :biggrin:

how much var are u running?? when i run var (i usually run 60-80mg) i lose a lot of weight around my midsection without any cardio and get hard as fuck. I love var for that!!!
 
If you're looking for size you generally want to avoid cardio. There are plenty of bodybuilders that have 6 packs without doing any cardio. They do it all with weight training and diet.

However, the latest thinking on burning fat while maintaining muscle is to do interval training (like wind sprints). Go all out for a short time, then rest for a short time, repeat. Look at olympic sprinters and their muscle definition compared to olympic distance runners.

I'm starting on Monday @ 40mg ed for 7 weeks. I would probably do 60mg but I don't have enough for that. I will just be doing about 20 minutes of low intensity cardio 3-4 days a week after my workouts which are pretty intense anyways. It's just that I'm in my third week right now of Test Cyp with Needto's tren-tfo for a kickstart and I've already gained 10lbs, now 210! I don't want my stomach getting out of control, it looks the same as of now. I hope 40mg Var helps too.

Anymore advice?

I like to do 10 minutes of medium intensity cardio before my workout just to get warmed up and prevent injury from lifting (it still counts towards the day's total cardio).

After lifting, try jumping rope for 10-20 minutes. Especially helps if you have trouble building calves.
