Went to take a nap just now, and was starting to fall asleep when I felt something itchy on my legs and arms. I looked on my arms and I see some sort of Rice looking thing on my arm.
At this point I am thinking I never eat rice in bed, and then I saw it move....

I jumped up, turned on the light and saw a bunch of worm, maggot looking things all crawling around on my bed. Up above in my florescent light that is mounted in the cieling, there is a million things crawling around, and they are dropping like little parachuters onto my bed, clothes, me. Needless to say I freaked out and took a long hot shower.
Called my landlord, not sure if they are termite grubs or if something died upstairs or in the ceiling. Guess its a hotel room for me in the morning.

I want a binki.

No crackhouse here. A bit of an old house, but well taken care of. No, something odd is going on. Been here a year and haven't even seen a cockroach, let alone an army of grub worms.

Not termites cause they cacoon themselves til maturity in a little nest that looks just like a wasps nest but the holes are tinier. Ya got something dead in the ceiling that flies have laid their eggs on. They need the rot to eat while grubs to turn into flies..............GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!

Landlord came over and checked the empty space in the ceiling where the light was for something dead. Wasn't very many maggots up there, and nothing dead was found. Interestingly they had invaded my living room and were infesting my bedroom rather than stick around in the ceiling. Gross thing was my landlord sprayed and then was picking up maggot carcassas with his fingers. I used a little hand broom and a dustpan. LOL No hotel for me thankfully. Just gotta clean my bed a bit.

I hate to break the news to you but the maggots infest things that are rotting period........they need to eat to reach maturity so unless you have socks laying around with a little extra toe cheese or the skid marks on your undies are thicker than the norm you have got something, somewhere rotting.

These maggots were huge, and I am still not sure that is what they were. each one was a good 1/4" - 1/2" long, and wiggled around alot.
We sprayed them with Raid, swept them up, put em in a trash bag, and put the trash bag outside. One or two might have escaped, but I think we got 99% of em.

We found nothing rotting from the apparent source. (Dropped cieling with a florescent light, much like in a school or place of business. Either they had hatched and grown alot off nothing,(because all the baby maggots I have seen have been itty bitty) or they ate everything. I had noticed no smell of rot anywhere either.

Whatever they were, they are gone now, and they will only haunt my nightmares.

They were in my CEILING, my socks and (no big ol skid marks) underwear is not up there. So yeah, they are feeding off something, but I think somebodies logic is trying to warp itself to make me look bad.

What It might have been was some big ol bug bodies, the moths and such that get up there because its a light, and die. Only thing it could have been. Even maggots don't eat a whole body of say a mouse. Little bones are left right? Well, with a flashlight bones of a mouse or bird or something would be easy to see in the dropdown cieling.

And I don't have hair. As soon as I saw what they were I took a hot shower to make sure they were not in my Body hair. Definatly going to wash my sheets.

Well, Cleaned them all up before work last night, just got back and there is even more up in the ceiling and some more have dropped down. Definately not going to sleep here, and going to check for a new apartment. Think something died in the upstairs apartment and they are crawling down from there. Has to be it, because we cleaned all the ones that were there out already.
