OMG I fell today

It freaking figures....went to get my hair cut today and she gave me a trial size shampoo thing....so while I'm getting my hair cut, hubby goes to the bar across the street. Afterwards, I put the shampoo in the car & walk around the front to get to the sidewalk..... Well, the curb drops off abruptly and I guess my foot slipped off & I fell on the ground right onto both knees & palms.

My palms still sting, but my right knee is scraped up pretty good & both knees HURT like a sumbitch. Have put ice & heat on & popped some pain meds.

But it figures - I ski for 14 days straight & no issues - at home I fall down & hurt myself in a freaking parking lot!! Dammit!!

They're acrylic - so I need a fill and they need to be filed down with a Dremel + I'm getting a pedicure....I dunno why it takes so long - she told me she needed 3 hours.....

3 hours is a LONG time for just a fill and pedicure.

I can get a fill, pedicure, and my hair done (which is more than a wash & blow dry) in that amount of time.

Same with me, it has never taken that long. Hair + nails and I'm usually out in 2, she must do a really good job for you.

I hate getting my hands sliced up........if it will make you feel better I will tell you about my bike riding adventure and the driveway that brought it to a halt, that wasn't pretty........

As for a fill and a pedicure it shouldn't take more than 2 hours and 15 minutes - tops.

I've had a fill as quick as 45 and as long as 90 and pedicure with a massage 30-45 minutes.

I am totally fascinated by that thing - take a layer off, put a layer on, buff, file buff - three times.

They always come out perfect - GOD the gal is amazing.

It's good you didn't but if you had to it would have been better to break on today than after the 3 hour appt. tomorrow. Watch your step after the apt and let me know what good gossip you picked up at the shop. ( I used to own a salon, Nail hair and massage, and no CB I didn't work there)
