CNN says that one of the gunshout wound victims was 'self-inflicted', meaning that he was the source of the gunshot. So perhaps. Also, they took into custody 2 people in a bus stop location just minutes away from the mall.

Police Remove Grenade from Westroads Parking Lot

Omaha, NE - Police removed a grenade from the parking lot outside Westroads Mall late Friday.

Omaha Police say someone found the grenade in the mall parking lot near The Cheesecake Factory. It was still intact - meaning the pin had not been removed. Police say no one was around when they found the grenade. The bomb squad safely removed it from the area.

Police do not have any suspects at this hour.

I grew up there....we hung at the mall all the time when I was 13 or so.....Used to be a really great place to live

Omaha isn't that bad. It's just like a lot of other cities. You have to know what neighborhoods to stay out of. I still can't believe that happened. I grew up in Lincoln for most of my life and visited Omaha often. I still go back home all the time. Things aren't that bad. I do prefer Lincoln over Omaha though. To me Lincoln has always been a much cleaner town. Of coarse a big reason for this is all the LE they have compared to other cities. I used to always talk shit about that.
