olive oil and the foreman grill?

just curious...if some olive oil is used in marinating chicken or fish and then cooked on a foreman grill will the olive oil become trans fatty acids?

I have never heard that a mostly mono-unsaturated oil can become a trans fat.....where did you hear this?

Olive oil has a low smoke point, which means that under high heat at a relatively low temp. the oil will smoke.....grapeseed oil has a higher smoke point with the same mono- benefits....

Yes, but you need the Philosopher's Stone ;)

In fact olive oil can be used to cook w/o problem (see mediterranean diet)
