Hi, I'm a newbie. I'm 57, am taking a variety of cholestral, and blood pressure med and some stuff for prostrate that is supposed to be hormone based. I am benching 305 consistently, do one and one half hrs of cardio a day and lately a ton of ab exercises on the ab machines, and guess what, I cant loos a single lb or see any change. I am 506, 185 with 19 percent body fat. you can respond off list to [email protected] if you prefer. I'm thinking the medications are messing meup, even though my strenght is fine , endurance is fine blah blah Im getting tired of doing cardio and not seeing results. any ideas let me know tia.

dude you neeed to get away from those medications - how can you be taking blood pressure meds with that much cardio? makes no sense except that doctors don't know anything about how the body of a fit individual works - i am 54 years old and have gone from a 44 waist to a 36 (can get into 34s but like the feel of 36s) - i took about 3 years - now i was doing the same kind of things you are and just kept getting fatter - a lot of the reason i was able to get rid of the bodyfat had to do with prohormones (that the damn fda has banned) but i have found other ways to deal with the fact that we are fighting a battle against the aging process - i will follow with some recomendations
