OL Numbers for different weight classes

b fold the truth

Elite Strongman
Platinum
Well, my girlfriend has become really interested in what kind of numbers that the women in the Olympics are putting up for her weight class.

She is 25 and around 125 pounds...

Clean and Jerk?

Snatch?

Any ideas???

Thanks

i snatched 125 for 3 today and i weigh 225, hahahaha. i am sure the nef can punk me pretty quick in relation to bodyweight:) she is a freaky athletic/strong woman.

Jerk, Anywhere from 75 to 90 kg's
CJ Anywhere from 90 to 120 kilo's.
These where the numbers posted during the 2003 world championships, in the women's 58 kg class.

Wow...

You know...strangely enough I don't think that 200 pounds is out of the question for her someday...

I think that she could make top 20 in 6 months of training...

Well technique means a lot, and most those people in the 10 have been training since they were 13 :)

it usually takes 5-6 years to hone your technique. It's atken Shane Hamman that long as is, and he's only ranked 11, and he's stronger and heavier than all the other super heavyweights. But he does get drug tested a lot more often than the others...
