lol - I was looking at them and I was thinking that they were all different books.
I'm terrible at names, so I was like - I think that was frankenstein... and that too... but...

lol.

uuuugh - I hated Wuthering Heights.

come to think of it, I don't like any of the Brontes... or their stories at least. probably because they were assigned to read - I hate being assigned something.

Great Expectations was good, but it took awhile for me to warm up to it.

Wuthering Heights isn't all that bad....it's hard to get into in the beginning but once Nelly starts narrating the story it gets interesting...

I'm pretty sure all of the Brontes wrote books soley for chicks.

I've never met a straight male that enjoyed them, and I've never met a chick that disliked them.

I always thought that Jane Eyre, if made into a movie, should have Al Pacino (sp?) in the role of the Byronic hero.

Well, fuck.

I liked Jane Eyre.

Guess that makes me a lesbian.

Maybe i should have specified that no girls should read this thread. This isn't making any of us look good just so you know. Especially those of us who read sci-fi and fantasy. Okay, now where'd I put that gun?

wow.

well, there is always a first.

I found 90% of that book painfully boring, and the brief moments of interest didn't merit the time I spent reading it.

that said, it was assigned, so I had to read it - and I hate that.

I much prefer an autodidactic experience.
