ok so i'm literally addicted to EF

it's bad for me too bro...fuck. i been wasting so much time here last couple of months.

i don't regret it that much, good info, been entertained..got close to some good peeps.

but i probably could be alot more productive (making money, networking,getting laid).

i never was hooked in years past till i got to know the people around here. now im fuckin stuck

just need to limit my time spent. gonna put a block on EF/espn/etc at my new job

it's notjust EF but the whole internet
I've thought about having it pulled from the house entirely
I can post freely at work cause I work about 20 hours/weekl

there's just so much more productive stuff I could do
from household cleaning tasks to reading actual books

when I am online I have about 8 windows/website open to different topics/subjects
and rotate through them
so I have plenty going on and it's mentally addicting to have all this shit going simultaeously
not to mention a TV program going behind me
or music playing
 
me too, im always logging in and checking on my k count see if any1 loves me lol need to keep up on the drama, i log out for 6 hours and i come back and all hell is breaking loose people getting banned , people getting called out..etc love it
 
metaphorically it's the high school and/or college cafeteria experience

I never understood the all or nothing mentality when it comes to webantics. if someone feels they need to cut back on web and do more IRL stuff, then just do that - why the need to cut yourself out totally cold turkey and have a good bye thread?

like any addiction, sometimes you need to go cold turkey. moderation is not possible for some people

there's no real difference between the mentality addictive aspect of drugs and something like the internet

EF to just chatting occasionally with buddies on AIM = heroin to methadone

Well we have a sheet of ice on the bottom (from last weekend), covered by about a foot of snow from Thursdays snow here is the forecast for the next 24 hours. Sound fun!

My wife thinks I spend too much time on the computer but I disagree. She spends as much time watching t.v as I do on the computer.
