what would the best tri exercises be without the iso stuff...
right now im limited to ...

close grips...and dips (which i dont particulary like nor does it seem to help bench much).

would like some other basic tri stuff that i can do without bands...will the bands fit btw on most commercial benches easily or would i have to have some retrofiting or something......

You could do 5board press and 4 baord. Rack lockouts. Anyhting that limits te range of motion to just the top 1/3 of the bench will hit the tris hard. I think that Jms and skulls as well as close grip arer a must for a big bench though. You don't need bands to do any tri movement but they can come in handy to add extra stress and change the motion up.

Very good advice. Just keep your grips closer when doing your speed bench.

You are right about the dips. In the words of Bob Youngs, "Dump the dips."

Carpet presses, JM presses and a close grip for me or someone with very broad shoulders do your ME and DE close grip with a thumbs distance from the smooth.

The mini bands can be anchored under dumbells eaisly.
